Voici des tartans de ma création.
Certains sont déjà officiellement enregistrés auprès du Scottish Register of Tartans, d'autres sont des projets en cours de validation ou de proposition.

Il s'agit principalement ici d'un aperçu des tartans que j'ai créés dans le cadre de mon projet artistique "Addictionville".
La série des tartans d'Olethros montre bien la déclinaison d'un même tartan avec des couleurs différentes pour refléter une institution particulière, mais garder la filiation et la cohérence avec le tartan d'origine, comme cela était le cas avec certains tartans familiaux écossais, dont une version était portée pour la chasse, une autre pour les réceptions, une autre encore pour une branche particulière de la famille, etc.
My fantasy tartans are here mainly an overview of the tartans I created in the frame of my artistic project "Addictionville".
The series of the Olethros tartans shows well the declination of the same tartan with different colours to reflect the spirit of a particular institution, but at the same time keep the filiation and coherence with the tartan of origin or reference, as it was the case with some scottish family tartans which had different versions according to their use: one for hunting, another for dress (evening suit and receptions), yet another for a particular branch of the clan, etc.
J'ai toujours été fasciné par le tartan écossais, tissu à motifs recherchés et élégants, véhicule d'une forte identité nationale. C'est par ces qualités plastiques indéniables que le tartan a conquis le monde entier. Nombreux sont les non Ecossais aujourd'hui a se faire designer leur propre tartan, qu'il s'agisse de personnes privées, d'associations, d'entreprises ou d'institutions...
Car le tartan se prête à toutes les inspirations et s'adapte à maints supports pour véhiculer votre image sous une forme graphique différente et originale.
Si à l'origine il se portait principalement en vêtements (kilt, châle, écharpe, cravate, foulard, costume...) , il se développe aujourd'hui également dans l'ameublement (nappes, rideaux), les accessoires (sacs, chemises) et tous l'attirail commercial et de communication, pour donner une inimitable touche de chic et un caractère unique.
Mes prestations pour le tartan
Je peux vous créer votre tartan à vos couleurs préférées, celles de votre blason, de votre logo, et en rapport avec votre charte graphique, votre localité, votre histoire ou votre sensibilité particulière.
Le design ainsi créé est ensuite déposé auprès de l'autorité gérant les tartans du monde entier, une institution du gouvernement écossais: le Scottish Register of Tartans.
Une fois l'enregistrement effectué, vous aurez votre propre design, déposé et protégé pour l'usage privé ou public que vous déciderez.
Je peux vous proposer un accompagnement pour le développement éventuel des produits floqués à votre tartan.

Pour les professionnels comme les particuliers, je peux aussi m'occuper de votre développement de tartan de A à Z, plutôt que simplement vous laisser vous débrouiller dans la nébuleuse des intervenants. I've always been fascinated by scottish tartan, a material with intricate and elegant pattern, and a strong symbol of national identity. It is because of its qualities that tartan has now conquered the entire world. Nowadays, numerous are the non Scotts to have their own tartan design, be it personal tartans, but also charity, corporate or institutional tartans...
Tartan adapts to many inspirations and products to display your image with originality. If in the beginnings it was meant to be worn as a garment (kilt, shawl, scarf, tie, costume...), it developed also in the domains of furniture, accessories and commercial and communication tools, giving an inimitable touch of prestige and exclusiveness.
I can create your tartan from your beloved colours, your coat of arms, your logo, or according to your graphic charter, your local specifics, your history or particular sensitivity.
The design created goes then through the authority managing the tartans worldwide, which is part of the Scottish government: the Scottish Register of Tartans. Once the certification is granted, you'll have your own listed and protected design for your use, be it private or public.
